Custom Kydex Holster Tutorial

I created this tutorial on how to make a custom kydex holster in order to help those that are looking for a hard-to-find holster for their not so common gun. This tutorial is for an IWB holster for my SW40VE but the process is the same for most guns (mostly semi-autos). The holster is a lot like the old Predator holsters. Basically, I saw my friend's and said I can make that. Here's the link:

Kydex is easy to work with and these holsters are pretty easy to make.

They cost about $10 in materials and take 1 to 2hr to make.

So far everyone that's made one with me have really liked theirs.

I get my Kydex at Professional Plastics. They have an online store but I've only purchased it from one of their distribution centers near my home. It runs about $7-8 per square ft.

If you can't get it local there are several places online that sell it. I can't really recommend anyone since I've never purchased it online.

I just use standard Kydex with a thickness around the .85"-.95" range.
