Custom grips for Charter Bulldog .44

I would like to have custom grips made for my Charter Arms Bulldog .44. I've had little luck finding someone on the internet that makes them. Anyone have a contact?

I think CA has 2 grip frames the undercover and full size.

That would be incorrect, as ALL Charter revolvers, both old/new, have the same size gripframe.

The only thing that differs are the outer shapes/dimensions, with Undercovers being minimal, the Target Grips being large/squared/hand-filling, and the rubber bumpers somewhere in-between.

I tried out the Eagle Secret Service grips.

Fit, symmetry, etc was simply awful, and the price was was almost 100 bucks. The grips didn't match up well, didn't follow the contour of the backstrap, and the two sides were different shades of color.

They were so bad that I just sent them back for a refund. I figured that if a company was okay with letting something like that represent their name, I really wasn't interested in getting a replacement. Anyway, after sending them back, it took multiple calls and emails over a month's time before they would refund my money through a simple paypal transfer.

Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend them.

I have never had any custom grips for my bulldog. I have used Herretts, Jay Scott, Mustang (I think), factory, and Pachmayr (I have used some synthetic Ivory and some real stag on Undercovers which were custom I guess). Of them all, the Pachs and pach clones work the best with this little stopper.
