I just add an 1858 Remington Old Army Target model from cabelas to my BP arsenal. I shot it with a kirst 45LC converter. I like the gun and it shoots very well but the grip s--ks. Obviously the wood material they are using is different from the two I purchased before this one and the fit is not that good. Anybody knows of anyone who makes custom grips ?

I was at the sass shoot out at the winter range
in az, last year, i found a vender who was selling
58 grips, he had some nice gips, i had to have a
pair. He gave me his bis, card but i lost the darn
thing, but i know there are guys on this forum
who are sass members, some one might know of
this vender. If i can remember i will let you know.

I've been looking for some custom carved ivory like grips for my 58 remmies. All the grip styles I like are for colt revolvers, or for the later remmies. Is there anyone making say, bull head or snake pattern grips for 58's. An americam eagle grip would be awsome.
