Rationalized the purchase in many different ways, including but not limited to recent events on the east coast. It took some doing too because of the new house funds were/are limited. As they say, "Rationalization is more important than sex." Glad I did, finally got to the range today and I must say it is a great pistol so far.
200 rnds, no jams, accurate as I am, trigger has just a hint of creep bit that can be cured. It is a pretty pistol and I almost don't mind the front cocking serations. Only hiccup was the preshoot cleaning were it was slightly more difficult to get the slide back on the frame than my other 1911s due to the new grip safety feature, but it eventually went. Now I suppose I'll have to buy an Eclipse Compact to keep the other company.
