Curious phenomenon

No matter what I am doing, I cannot seem to walk by my gun safe without stopping, dialing the combination, opening it and either picking up my Enfield or my '03 A3 and working the action a couple times. Seems very strange. :)
 
Seems perfectly healthy and normal to me. Right? Right???

Just don't name them and start buying them presents.;)

I can understand your dilemma, but mine is somewhat more pronounced. Each time I see a movie at home and spot a rifle I have in the program, such as a German K98, Lee Enfield or FN/FAL for example, that particular rifle starts to chrip wildly until I go and cradle it for a few minutes. One of these days it's going to wake up the neighborhood pulling this stunt.

Heck, sometimes the only way to pacify it is to allow it to watch the rest of movie with me in which it is featured.
Then on some occasions the other firearms in the safe get jealous and sound like a barrel full of crickets in heat... but I won't go into that here. :D
 
Does the Springfield get jealous when you touch that Enfield? Mine sure would and I fear there would be wood chips and shredded leather slings flying all over the safe. Luckily the 03s are on speaking terms with the Polish M44 next door.:D

(untill my wife was watching "Toombstone" and heard her SXS chirping.. she just had to go and get it and let it watch too...)

Osama has struck again!! First it was terror in the skies, then anthrax, now this!!!!!

BUT, it's not too late!!!!

Carefully, package each firearm that you guys own, carefully place them in padded containers, and ship them (postage paid) to me IMMEDIATELY!!!!

It's nice to know that my little character 'traits' are shared.
My 'harem' whines incessently whether I'm watching TV or not:)
I do my best to keep them happy rifles, but sometimes I have to take stern measures:( ...like threatening the loudest snivlers with a trip to the next gunshow! ;)
 
Danny45 I am NOT a nut. My mental health associate and I go shooting together. He wears his pretty Napoleon suit and I am Willhelm II .

I spent two winters at MINOT!!!!! brrrrrrrr I would have left after the first winter but they can see you walking for 3 days after you leave!!!
