I have a friend who has a Crossman 760 Pumpmaster air rifle in pieces. He really wants to put it back together for his son. I was hoping that someone out there might have a copy of the assembly instructions for this gun. Please help if you can. Thanks.
Contact Airguns Canada http://www.airgunscanada.com/
These folks are located in Edmonton,Alberta and should be able to
provide all you need.They may be able to send a photocopy of the assy
diagram to aid in the repairs.
The fellow running the store(Roger) is the son of the man who bought
Crosmans stock of obsolete spare parts some years back.Pretty much all
the seals are available,many parts as well.For the most part,if the part
is not available here,it probably can't be had.
I got the seals set for an old air pistol from them and the bill
totalled under $20(YMMV)
Tell them Trevor Jones sent you(they probably won't hang up on you
)
Thanks for posting the photo. My kid's air rifle was all apart after a jammed pellet which I only diagnosed after dissassembly. I don't suppose anyone knows if it is normal for these little air guns to leak a little air after pumping which can be heared at the muzzle?
No, it's not normal, and it means that there's a leak somewhere in the gas system which is going to require a stripping, cleaning, and proper lubrication.
