I got my Crossbreed yesterday This will act as a short review, and in a few weeks I'll up date it as I wear it more. I will wear this everyday.
Shipping was right on time, I didnt count days but Id say two weeks from order to delivery was about right, being made to order and given the current climate Id say thats pretty darn good.
First thoughts; looks good overall. Good finish. All the cuts on the leather are fairly smooth, the plastic is smooth also, no ruff edges. Im carrying a Glock27, the retention is nice, not super tight nor loose. A note is included on how to tighten the retention if needed, which seems very easy to do, or I can send it back and have it done for free..nice.The gun holds well. Horse hide is used on mine, due to my climate. The hide has a even thickness, no high spots or dips.
Played around with the different setting for the belt clips, mine came with the standard metal clips. There are 4 postions for each clip and you can really taylor the height the gun rides in and the angle.
Im wearing it in the 430ish postion and I can hardly feel it. Its also set pretty low. Im 6'2" and 195-200lbs. With a lrg t-shirt it is all but gone! The only thing that shows it the slightest bump from the mag extion on the glock, should I use the std mags there isnt any bump. No one will notice this, theres no way. I havent played with the shirt tuck yet, just a tee tucked in. It will take a few seconds to get it tucked, but with a golf shirt or so then gun should be well concealed. Ive worn this for 8 or so hours, the hide is already starting to shape to body, which will further add to the fit and concealment.
As for now it gets a 10/10. I wish I would have thought of the design, nice job. This may or may not be matter to some, but being that Crossbreed is a Christian company and points. There isnt anything wrong with owning a business and making a honest profit. And from what I can tell from the product and literature they are on track!
Ive owned a few different holsters and this oneis on top, they all do something well. From comfort, concealment, retention, or over all finish...but this one seems to do them all.
