Crimson Trace won't fit??

Just got my Crimson Trace . Went to install it on my CZ Compact and with the side panels installed the top part where the laser is, is about 1/4inch from the frame. If I get the top part w/laser flush against the frame the grip panel is way off. Am I doing something wrong or are the grips faulty.

Have you verified they are the LG-476 Rubber Overmold? And that your pistol is CZ 75 D PCR Compact or CZ P-01
with a compact frame in 9mm Luger with no ambi-safety?

Sounds like you might have the LG-475 for the full size frame or perhaps an ambi safety. Just guessing.

It's the right stock number, just a fluke thing I guess, I guess I'll have to send it back to CT. Hope I don't have to pay the full ride.

By all means, call Crimson Trace. I highly recommend their customer service (phone number is in the folder that came with the grips). To illustrate from personal experience, some months after the warranty (two years) expired on the CT grips I have on my Browning Hi Power (have two others on revolvers), it began to eat up batteries after three or four range sessions. I called CT customer service. First I told them the warranty had expired, then I told them what my problem was. They waved aside the fact that the warranty was gone, sent me a new set of grips and asked me to send them mine for analysis -- all on their nickel.

Cordially, Jack

Thanks to all. Crimson Trace C/S is sending me a new set, I sent them pictures and they were suprised at the problem. Have to send the old ones back though, wanted to try a jerry rig them to my Rami P.
