Crimson Trace problems

My wife purchased a Sig 1911 .45 ACP in November 2015 with the Crimson Trace wrap around grips. It has worked fine until now. She turned it on and fired 5 shots and all seemed fine. She then handed me the gun and it no longer worked. I have gone through two sets of new batteries, but it still won't work. I contacted crimson trace and am awaiting a response on Monday. Yes the grip switch is turned on. Any Ideas?
 
That's why I would never trust my life to a gizmo with circuits, and batteries.
Great training tools to detect munwanted movement when pulling the trigger. Good for practicing instinct shooting. Fun to play with to look cool. But even the best on the market can fail, and you don't want that to happen when you need it most.
