Crimson Trace laser grips

I have never used these or any other laser sight before but i am finding that with my bi-focals i just dont shoot as good as i used to. Anyone have good or bad experience with these I would like to hear?

I have a set for a J frame, and have them adjusted for 25'.

At that distance, they're right on. As the distance increases or decreases, they will be off by an increasingly large margin, either left or right (depending on distance variation).

For the range, if you shoot at the same distance constantly, they'll do what you want. For carry, even an inch or two off the spot is still gonna accomplish what you needed it to do.

For Xmas got a set of Crimson Trace LG-206's for my S&W 629. My sights are perfect, but I can't see them well except under well-lighted conditions. I was VERY disappointed with the cheap attach-to-the-trigger guard laser I bought, but so far I am very impressed with the LG-206's

Installation took only a couple of minutes, and adjusting the little red dot to sit right on top of the sights took only a minute more. Hopefully I'll get to the range an fine tune them this week.

Hi Jshaw,

I put Crimson Trace grips on our Taurus 605 for my wife's bedside gun. I favor them over the internal type, since the CTs are fully adjustable. One range trip and they are right on.
I ordered ours through shooterssupply.com and got free batteries for life. They showed up about 3 days after I ordered them, as well.

Be Well,

Scarface

I just bought a gun for my wife with the CT grip on it ... I highly recommend them.

Not only is it a great laser sight , but it's also a great deterent that would scare off your average bad guy and negate your having to actually shoot someone.
