are these things picky on ammo, or is it just my rifle, or even possibly the bulk box of remington .22?

i got one today and maybe 2 of 5 will load and eject from the rifle... the others have to be pryed from the chamber.

any ideas?

Look for a mark on the side of the case just in front of the firing pin mark. If you have one, someone snapped it without a snap cap and put an indentation into the soft barrel steel that went into the chamber. There is a tool called a chamber iron for removing it.

My daughter shoots Super Colibri's in hers cuz she can't stand the noise level of standard velocity .22's. They have a standard length .22LR casing, but the bullet is shorter. After she shoots a few, I can't get a standard .22LR to chamber due to fowling deep in the chamber. The same thing happens when she uses my single shot Savage. Give the chamber a good brushing out, might just be some fowling or a fleck of lead in there.
