CR Handgun transfer to MD licensee

Hi,

it would appear that a C&R holder in MD cannot receive C&R eligible handguns from out of state because of a state law and he/she would need to go through a regular FFL dealer.

Is that right?
 
While some dealers, such as AIM and Century Arns, will ship a C&R handgun only to a 01 FFL holder there is no Maryland law that precludes the shipping of C&R handguns into the state to a 03 FFL. Over on highroad.org this has been discussed numerous times and one member posted a letter that he received from the AG's office.
