Coyote Pelts in Arizona

thanks for the link

you can find coyote almost anywhere in arizona. hell, i've seen them in the city at night out in surprise. skimpin around in parking lots and such.

my favorite spot to call 'em in is out past surprise. take bell ALLLLLLLL the way out west and you'll see one last intersection past a "no services for blah blah miles"

make a right. follow that dirt road ALLLLLLL the way in to get away from dirtbikes, atvs, and big 4x4 trucks. it's about a 20 minute drive, but there's a watering hole in there that's pretty hard to get to. i usually park about a mile away and stalk my way in looking for tracks and such. if i dont get sidetracked, i'll set up by the hole and start calling.

another good place is to take 99th ave north to lake pleasant road, and take that all the way to castle hot springs road, then just find a dirt trail away from the lake and dig yourself in. better terrain there, but there's more people you have to worry about. taking bell out past white tanks isn't as crowded, unless you go on the weekend.

I went shooting off I-10 and Miller road last weekend , I didnt go to far in but their was alot of people and garbage.
Next time Ill take Bell west , never went past sun city.
I usually go shooting at Sicamore Creek across from four peaks a little east of Saguaro lake but Ive never seen anything but rabbits.
I live at Cave Creek Rd and Cactus in the montain reserve and I always see coyote but cant shootem legaly.

yeah, there's a lot of trash when you take bell all the way out. i think the road's called 'crozier'

but once you get about 5 miles in, it cleans up a bit. in the summer, wear snake guards because the brush can get pretty thick. winter you should be alright.

they also come out in packs at night. if you have amber lights, set up some calls and just pop 'em off. just be careful not to let 'em sneak up behind you though :)

anyways, good hunting

Its been a while but I went west on Bell to Crozier , I went South because it said no shooting when I tried to go North.
Going South on Crozier followed a fence and their was garbage all over , seemed kinda close to houses but other people were shooting too.
I just moved to Youngtown and had to find new shooting spots and this place is only 13 miles from my house.
Thanks dot5ive.
Tom
