Couldn't reloading an AK like this damage a magazine or mag well?

Noticed these vids on youtube quite a bit. Speed loading with the AK-47. Whether it was plastic of metal mags this could not be good for the mags, mag release, or mag well.

My buddy has been doing reloads like that for years with his AKs. He hasn't damaged any mags, the mag release or mag well.

AKs are pretty tough

I don't see the problem. Mag comes out. Mag goes in. It's just some quick work with the mag release lever.

If you consider your magazines to be a precious commodity, then don't throw them on the ground. Otherwise... I don't see the problem.

The weapon is operating normal. Nothing bad about it. mags are designed to be dropped and hit the ground metal and plastic. Nothing wrong with it.

What's the problem? Nothing can destroy the mighty AK 47 lol. On a more serious note, don't the Russians train this way?

They are trained to do reloads this way. Sonny Puzikas, former Spetsnaz, does training videos for tactical use of the AK that are pretty cool that show this technique.

That's how I train. I also reach under to pull the charging handle. Looks awkward but feels natural. (for me at least) No problems yet. Is Russian, yes? No so called capitalist weak plastic toy.
