could use a little info on a HI Standard double nine

I have a hi std double nine, plastic pearl type handle ,Hamden Conn,w-100. .22 cal. I'm trying to find a little more info on this hand gun, like what year made, how many made and is it worth anything?

While the Double Nine was made from 1958 to 1970, your particular version (blued, w/faux ivory plastic grip) was made from 1958-65 only.

The BBGV's range from 475 to $200, depending upon the % of remaining original condition.

AFAIK, the production numbers were never made public.
 
The Double Nine was another of several guns made to simulate "cowboy" guns during the first western craze in the 1960's. It is basically a Hi Standard Sentinel, then a modern alloy frame double action revolver for woods carry and informal target shooting. The changes involved a fake ejector rod housing, a grip emulating single action revolvers, and a high spur hammer.
