Could someone please identify this model?

Hey everyone, I'm new here in the forum

My question in this thread is about the following model:

http://speedytoys.com/airsoft_guns/Gnb_133s.jpg

The image is of an airsoft revolver, but I want to know the model it was based on.

First I thought it was a Taurus, but I couldn't find any Taurus model which looked like this one.

So, anyone knows?

And just checking, the ones below:

and

Are Colt Python and SW Model 29, correct?

Thanks
Carl

It is based, loosely, on the S&W 629, but it is not an exact copy of any real gun, and does not have to be.

The last two are the Colt Python and the S&W N frame....possibly a model 29 or 57. The first looks like a 686 from the custom shop.

Overall, shape of the frame and the thumbpiece of the gun in the first link appear to be copies of a S&W, however, the barrel looks similar to what I've seen on Dan Wessons before. As with many airsoft, pellet, BB, and toy guns, I suspect that features from different models of real guns have been borrowed and blended in order to make the end product look "cool" or "neat".

The gun in the second link is obviously modeled after a Colt. It could be either a Python or Anaconda as, at a casual glance, those two models look similar to each other (the Anaconda is larger and chambered for larger cartridges like .44 Magnum and .45 Long Colt).

The gun in the third link is obviously patterned after a S&W. While it's most likely a M29, it could also be an M19 as that model, though smaller and chambered for a different cartridge, shares the same overall profile as the M29. Finally, it could also be a M57 or M25 as both of those are also built on the N-Frame, have heavy barrels, and use half-underlugs just like the M29 does.

Well, looking the barrel and grip, it really looks like those models of SW.

But the barrel still is a mistery.
Maybe it's like that, they made a design to look cool.

But the thing is, I remember seeing a revolver which was very much like this one, and it wasn't an airsoft gun.

Anyone else has a guess?

If the barrel is from a revolver you know, please, say here too.

Thanks
