That's all the info I have. Anyone ever heard of it? Relative says he's got a rifle that's made in Georgia by Cotco and in 7.62 caliber. He's not a gun enthusiast so not really sure what he has, I'm trying to figure it out for him. He claims it was made in Georgia and sold to the Chinese back in 1975. I think he's got it backwards. My guess is it's probably a Chinese-made gun and the Cotco stamp is probably an import stamp but I can't find any info on it so....hopefully someone here can shed some light on it.

The main chinese importer was NORICO,..

the time period sounds right but they are banned forever for importing firearms.

Some of the semi-47 recievers had extra holes that got "batfe" attention, this was at the end of the klinton's regime.

Get a picture or ask type of action (Bolt or autoloader)?

1975 couls also be a "war trophy" from the se asia war game.

I did find this pertaining to some business merger in Atlanta in 2007?
The Company acquired COTCO Luminant Device Limited, or COTCO, from COTCO Holdings Limited on March 30, 2007. As a result of the acquisition, COTCO Holdings Limited, now known as United Luminous
