Corporate NFA weapons?

Anybody know how Blackwater (for example) owns NFA weapons for deployment to Iraq? Are they delivered/stored out of the US? Are corporations like this allowed to but post '86 weapons, and if so, could a corporation in the US purchase post '86 weapons?

It's my understanding that they either convert "in country" or acquire weapons from the Dept. of State, who oversees their contracts.

In my second post I was referring to large corporations inside the US. Sorry for not being more clear.

Yes, unless the corporation has an FFL and an SOT that allows them to deal/manufacture/import machine guns. The reason a lot of people start up a corporation or LLC to own their machine guns is not because the corp can suddenly possess new machine guns, but because a corp isn't required to get a Chief Law Enforcement Officer signoff on the BATFE transfer form.
