Corbon's 45 Colt Magnum +P

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone has had much experience with Corbon's 45 Colt Magnum +P. I'd like to know what you thought of it. Furthermore, would I be correct in assuming that these rounds are safe when fired from a Ruger Bisley-Vaquero? I assume they are, but you know what they say about assuming...

Thanks.

I have no personal experience with those particular rounds but can say that the Ruger will handle any factory loaded cartridge.

Even mine.

Cor-Bon makes good hunting loads.

But.........

............I like mine better, especially my 335g load.

They do quite well in my Bisley with a 7-1/2 inch barrel. Accuracy is very acceptable and it do make a big boom when it goes off. Recoil not dissimilar from a 44 mag. However, there are no signs of distress/excess pressure such as misshapen primers, overly sretched brass, etc. So, for me, in my Bisley they have been just fine with no problems to date.

Thanks for the replies.

I forgot to ask one thing: does anyone know what kind of pressure these rounds produce?

I've had a bunch of these go through my guns with nary a problem. The company's guns have had the bejabbers shot out of them with nary a problem. They were designed for Ruger sixguns. The pressure levels are lower than you'd suspect. TM
