Corbon ammo - case bulge issue

I took some .44 Spl 165 gr Corbon ammo to the range to get some practice with a lighter load than the mag ammo I usually shoot in my Redhawk.

To my surprise, I had some difficulty extracting more than half of the 30 rounds of Corbon that I shot. 'Seems as though the cases expanded just enough to make it difficult to remove the fired cases. No problems at all with the Win 250 gr "platinum tip" mag ammo, its usual diet.

Any ideas about what might have caused this issue?
Has anyone else had this problem with Corbon ammo?

Corbon is an excellent company .I have some of that ammo but haven't shot it yet .
Do you have an idea what the chamber ID is ? Do only some chambers have the problem ? Are the chambers smooth or rough ? Rough chambers may limit you to harder brass. Those rounds are lower pressure than the 44mag so that shouldn't be a problem.

If you could post pictures, especially of the primers, it would be helpful to us in determining whether the problem was excessive pressure or something else.

One thing that comes to mind is how you clean the cylinder after firing the gun. Straight-necked bullets like 44mag. and 44special allow some gases to escape down into the cylinder after firing. I always scrub my cylinders with a brass brush, just like the barrel. You could have a build up of residue in there. And in a blued gun, it's hard to see.

I usually clean the gun with Hoppes' and a series of swabs 'til they're clean & dry. Before this series, however, I used a brass brush, then swabbed the chambers and barrel; I'd been carrying it in a sandy/dusty area and thought it needed a good cleaning before range firing. I don't have a micrometer, so couldn't measure the cases or chambers.

Here's some pics of the chambers, cylinder, fired rounds, and gun after this happened. I cleaned with Hoppe's again, but no brush:

My Redhawk, after the "bulge" issue.
No signs of any damage.
