Coporate Ownership of Machine Gun

I just decided to get a M-11 with a suppressor (yeah I know its a bullet hose !!)
and I want to register them in the name of my corporation.
Anybody done this before?
I am not sure if I should just put in the corporations name, or should I include my name as a coporate officer?
What about the picture and fingerprints?
Any ideas where to find all these answers?

Any help is appreciated, since it takes 3 months to get the forms back, I dont want to screw it up and have to wait another 3 months !

If you are already the owner of a corporation, as part of your business (doctor, lawyer or architect for example) your corporation can buy NFA weapons, and the photo, police signoff and fingerprints are not needed. Just a Form 4. The corporation might be buying weapons for an investment, or for security, or for another good reason. You could incorporate yourself just to get NFA weapons also, although you should talk to a lawyer or another knowledgeable person about the downsides of being incorporated before just doing it, as well as any income or other tax consequences in your location. As the weapons are registered to the company, and not the owner of the company, they will have to be transferred out, tax paid (unless the transfer is otherwise exempt from the tax, ie from a government entity, or for an unservicable weapon), if the corporation is ever dissolved.

You'll need to put the corporation's name and address (no PO box) in the "Transferee" area. Any authorized officer can sign on the form. Be sure to include copies of your articles of incorporation, a photocopy of your authorization/charter, and any other official documentation proving your corporation exists and is viable. This will help the examiner validate your corporation as being real.

What about the picture and fingerprints?
Don't need 'em. And when the gun is picked up from the dealer, usually a NICS check is run - same as any other firearm purchase.

Corporations usually don't take as long as personal transfers - there's no wait on the FBI to run a background check. Expect less than 3 months for the transfer... but be patient nonetheless :)
