Temple Review: What about the problem of handguns?
Professor Jim Fyfe: I've always felt that nobody but an on-duty cop should have handguns. There are two issues that make us different from most Western democracies — guns and racism. We haven't solved either issue. Our gun laws are absurd. Pennsylvania last year turned down legislation that would have limited people to buying 12 guns a year. Who needs to buy more than 12 guns a year?
