Coonan 357 B spring ?

Does anyone know what kind of spring I'd need to replace the recoil spring in my Coonan 357 B?
I'm hoping I can get away with one of the stronger Wolff springs for the 1911, but which one?
Thanks for your input.

Thanks.
I'll try that.
Unfortunately, the Coonan board is not the most organized, with posts all over the place, in no particular order.
I'll see if I can do some sort of search there.

Thank you very much. That gives me something to work with.
My Coonan still feels very stiff when I cycle the slide, but I'm not sure how many rounds have been put through it, and spare parts are very hard to come by, so I just want to stay ahead of the game...
Thanks again.

From Page 23 of the Coonan owners manual under the heading "Proper Springs":

The standard spring is a 22 lb. load spring and should be used for all magnum jacketed bullets from 125 gr. to 158 gr.

Other springs are available from your dealer from 8 lb. to 24 lb. load ratings. You can use any recoil soring for Colt type .45 Government Models if you cut 1 1/2 to 2 coils off the springs.

Keith,

Dan Coonan is getting back in the Connan business. He is working on getting his website going and it looks like he will be providing some services for Coonans. Not really sure what but hopefully he was the one who got the stuff. His webpage is www.dancoonan.com. THere is still a lot of "under construction" on it but at least he is trying. I pop into the Coonan BBS everyonce in a whileto see if there is anything new. The guy that is helping Dan with his web page usually posts updates and info there.
