Convert S&W 6906 to DAO?

I just got a 6906, and can't seem to get used to the DA-SA change-up. I am very familiar with shooting my revolvers DA. Is there a way to convert the 6906?
 
That conversion is one that sounds easy but might be tricky. It is not always as simple as taking out the single action sear, as DAO pistols have a special mechanism to keep a following down hammer from firing a round accidentally. It might be a good idea to call S&W and see what they say.
