Convert it to 45 Colt?

Can a Ruger super redhawk be converted to 45 colt? Worried about barrel dont care if I have to buy cylinder. Dont like redhawk grip at all, but love super and gp100, but hate 357 calibre. 45 or bigger with the only exception being rimfires.

Oberkommando, this could probably be done but it would require changing the barrel and either changing or reaming the cylinder. If you like, e-mail me and I'll look into it a little farther and give you a quote. George

Probably cheaper and a lot easier to get a 454 Super Redhawk. I bought one of the 45 Colt Redhawks and it has been a royal pain in the butt. Not to mention a terrible trigger pull that is nearly impossible to improve. The Supers are better, lots better.
