has anyone had any experience with this conversion? It has been advertised in some of the national magazines. It sounds interesting but it would seem to be converting the revolver to a higher pressure cartridgethan it was deigned to handle.

Neat lil revolver i own 2 of them, one was converted in to 32acp,you can get the cylinders from shot gun new, look around its worth it. they shoot great and they are fun.
Problem is the nagat ammo is hard to find. Do you have a source?

I've never see a conversion to the 7.62 mauser. The ones I've seen are for the 32 auto, that sounds safe. A conversion to the 32 mauser sounds a little scary. The two rounds, of course, are now the same.

Have Fun

I have 3 nygant's one with a .32acp cylinder it is about like shooting .22LR,one I sent the cylinder to DAW in MO. with a check for for $49.95 they rechambered it to 7.62x25mm and it shoots great. Cheap surplus ammo for the 7.62x25mm is everywhere. The 3rd nygant is in the original 7.62 nygant but the russian ammo that I can't find anymore is real wimpy as it was target lead wadcutter load. The Fiocchi is hot but it is $29 a box.
You can't go wrong by having it converted to 7.62x25mm as I bought S&B boxer primed ammo for $10 for 50. The chinese surplus is $8 for 70 rounds when I bought 10 boxes.

I had the 7.62x25 conversion done to my
Nagant revolver and have been pleased with
the result. A word of caution, though. Avoid
using some of the stronger 7.62 loads in this
conversion. Any Czech and some Bulgarian loads should probably be avoided. The Norinco
/Chinese loads are stout but don't seem ex-
cessive fot the revolver. I touched
off a Czech round in it though and the case
tied up the cylinder and frankly the blast
scared the hell out of me.
