Conv. 1858 bulldog, holster?

Hey guys, new member here! Just wondering if anybody who has many more modern revolvers to compare to could tell me what this resembles most so i would be able to have a variety of options on holsters? its not quite done yet still needs bluing finish, the grips need a few more coats of stain, and im putting a front sight on, but lookin for options a while. Thanks in advanced I've already learned so much from browsing these forums before becoming a member.

I made several of my own, as I use / carry a spur trigger 32 S&W, & a spur trigger 38 S&W, the custom ones fit best, but my 38 S&W will fit OK into a J frame holster... my custom Ruger snubbie will fit a S&W K frame holster...

the 32 S&W is pretty small, I've made a couple holsters for it... this being my favorite...

this is the same gun in a compact auto gun holster ( 25 - 32 acp )

this is my 38 ( I used this gun to re-qualify for my CCW license this last year, so it works better than it looks... thought I might have had a picture of it in a J frame holster, but can't find one )

this is my Custom snubbie Ruger, I also made a holster for it, but it also fits my high ride / canted K frame holster, so it ends up in that most of the time...

PM IdahoMike here on this site. He makes custom holsters. And has made a bunch to fit the 1858. Just tell him your barrel measurements and I'll be he can hook you up. He does very nice work.

Thanks for all the info guys, I will consider all of them. But i was wondering if anyone knows of a modern revolver that would resemble it enough to go to a lacal shop and look for one, or maybe an inside holster, or shoulder. Again thanks for the info i do want a rig for hanging around the house too.

I'd be curious how close your gun size is to my 45... I'll bet your gun would fit fine in a S&W K snubbie holster... which should be at least reasonably common

Thanks I'll check them out! Here's a more up to date picture, I put the tape in to help a little more with sizing. It will get a ramped front sight then too, just waiting for it to come in the mail.
