Considering a new carry gun

Thinking about buying a Canik Tp9v2 in a few months and putting a few hundred rounds through it.If it goes clean and shoots reasonable groups I will reassign the Taurus PT111 G2 as a backup/car gun and carry the TP9v2 as a main carry gun. Dont like manual safeties on any carry gun whether with a hammer or a striker, only reason I bought the G2 was the price was right.Any pistol I buy for now on either just has a decocker or no manual safety.I have a preference for DA/SA triggers since I want double strike capability.
I see a good number of reviews of the TP9V2 on YouTube but don't see a lot of community postings on it trying to get some input to keep an open mind.
My alternatives are Beretta 92G and an H&K P2000 LEM.

The Canik pistols are apparently pretty good and a great value from what I keep hearing. I've heard some folks had problems with the plastic sites on them coming loose but that was apparently fixed with the TP9 SA and the trigger is supposed to be a lot better on the TP9 SA too. Not sure I'd want to trust my life to a Canik since I don't have much experience with them but for $300 I'd pick one up if I was in the market for a new 9mm.

My advice:

It looks ok, based on reviews, but proven guns like the XD and M&P are only about $50 bucks more.

The CZ P-07 looks like a good contender
I had a XD subcompact in 40 S&W that had a barrel link break off during shooting at the range rendering the gun a paperweight. Springfield sent me a new revised barrel from Mod 2 series did not have to pay shipping but I still sold it after making sure the gun was good.So I have no trust in XD pistols at all.

I can get a brand new Smith and Wesson M&P compact or full size in 9mm or 40 for $430 with standard sights and with night sights $500 at budsgunshop with .Mil discount but they could not tell me that they have the new models with the Shield trigger in it because they are not allowed to open the cases and look so I am hesitant to get one because I don't want to shell out more money to get an apex trigger kit to replace the terrible trigger on the old ones .

You can drastically improve the trigger by just polishing the trigger bar, and striker face. About a minute on the Work Sharp with the 6000 grit belt will give you a no grit pull without having to pull and polish the striker plunger, loop or sear.

Worked wonders on my Shields trigger.
