Connecticut Arms

[Texas Reb]

I saw .44 yesterday. The salesman called it Uberti, but the only markings I saw were Connecticuit Arms. Does anyone know anything about them. He was asking 199.00

armi san marco is typically the maker of the cva stamped revolvers. Look under the loading rod, it should be marked ASM.

Texas Reb,
Look for an octagonal muzzle stamped on the gun with a "U" in the middle (in the bore of the muzzle). That's the Uberti manufacturer's stamp. Armi San Marco will have ASM or just SM usually along the barrel or under the rammer. The Uberti stamp can be most anywhere.

You did not state if it was BP or cartridge. Uberti built barrels for Ivar Johnson or IJ sent the parts over there and Uberti assembled them. They will be stamped Uberti on the barrel and Ivar Johnson on the frame.
