I recently had Trijicon Model GLO4 sights installed on my G21. I took it too the range and noticed that it was shooting 3 to four inches low. I even wen up to the 3 yard line and fired from a rest. It was printing beautiful groups, all in one hole. Just 3 inches below where I was aiming.
I got to looking at the rear sight and compared it to my G30 that has factory GLO4 sights. The back trough in the back sight was lower on the G21 sights. I called Trijicon and they told me to send in my sights and they would fix them.
I did. Took them 2 weeks and I have it back, but they installed GLO1 sights. These are the same sights they put on the 9mm, 40S&W etc. They are even lower than the GLO4 sights.
I thought that you moved the sights in the direction that you wanted the bullet impact to move. ie, if you want to print higher you raise the back sight. But this back sight is lower. What do you guys think, is it going to print lower or to POA now?
I am going to go and test it tomorrow. I will let everyone know the results Monday.
In the meantime am I right or am I losing my mind. (I know I am right with my 686 adjustable sights.)
Thanks
Brian
