I am thinking of up grading the scope on my Remington 700 SPS AAC .308. Right now i have a Vortex PST 6X24X50. EBR Retical .10 MRAD adjustments (SFP).
I am looking at up grading to the Vortex RAZOR HD 6X20X50 In MRADS, FFP with the EBR2 retical.
Lately we are doing more and more shooting at 700yds +. and with the Vortex PST, i just dont have the elevation without maxing out my turret and holding over my retical some. which isnt that big a deal till the wind picks up. The Razor HD has twice the elevation and windage adjustments that the PST has. And with the EBR2 Retical holdovers at most distances should be a fairly easy.
Not that there is anything wrong with the Vortex PST, its a great scope, i bought it when i first starting getting into the sport and i love it.
What would some of you guys do who shoot at the 700yard+ mark consistantly?
