Condolence for Aurora Victims

This may be in the wrong forum but...... I didn't notice any thread on this site regarding it.

I would like to express my sincere condolences for the families and the victims in Aurora. Senseless acts of violence can never be condoned. I don't believe that the purpose of this site is to protect such acts nor those who inflict them.

Because acts of this nature paint proponents of gun rights in a suspicious light it would be wise to make a public statement expressing support for the victims and their families without engaging in a debate over gun rights. I think it would be cathartic to briefly maintain such a thread on all gun rights websites.
 
That's a nice sentiment, but it's really out of place here since posts are supposed to be firearm related. I imagine that's why no thread has been started.

It should go without saying that the vast majority of us feel the same way as you for the affected families. It's not a reflection on anyone here that it isn't being discussed.
