ITT ankle holsters are easy to access and "deep concealment" systems will allow you pass through metal detectors.

JMHO, but this is mostly terrible advice.

This is a GREAT way to conceal a weapon and is usually not picked up by searches or metal detectors.

:D:D you want to lose your handgun and get a felony, just try that carry method at any airport, court, etc..

I was flying out of Miami a few years ago,and they had their metal detector set so sensitive that I had to remove my false teeth to get through.I want to see any firearm that would get past a metal detector like that one!

read the guys profile, says "tactical" everywhere, makes some bold claims. Yeah, I think we got the return of the mall ninja

WHOOPS

I missed a word in my post for the DEEP CONCEAL I've made the change there. the word I missed was "EXCEPT" certainly leading to a wrong information issue. I've corrected this. Of course there's ALWAYS going to be the what if with the endless number of scenarios and in no way am I trying to tell people that if someone points a gun at you then you should "reach for your wallet and go for your gun" but if there's distance and the assailant has a knife then now that's an option worth taking.

The biggest thing about this post everyone is too consider your options and then most importantly train the way you should. Don't worry about the gun holster store I'm removing that link. If you're interested in my credentials or background please feel free to check the company I work with CRI Counter Terrorism Training out. Just google us you'll find it. Believe me I am no "mall Ninja" or "gear junky" but what I do get are a lot of questions about gear. Just wanted to hit the broad topics.

I've added the an OWB topic as well. Thank you for the criticism.

Again, that was a typo on my part. I fixed it in the post. The way it reads now is "...GREAT way to conceal a weapon and is usually not picked up EXCEPT by searches or metal detectors"

Note the word I missed which I will admit was a rather big boo boo.

Guys I'm just hoping to answer a few questions to the people who don't know this stuff, and if there's something I've not covered or a specific question then isn't that the point of a forum?

Credentials or no, I do have to say that he is being much more gracious in his responses then some of his detractors are.

Agreed. Both here and in the "Gun Holsters" thread.

(Alex - please check the spelling on the first (only) page of your website. ;) )
