M MosesMosley New member May 29, 2009 #3 If the magnet is as strong as they seem to make it look, it seems like you would have to use the "slide it off" approach to it other then just pulling off from the magnet. I could see this causing lots of cosmetic damage.

M MikeGoob New member May 29, 2009 #4 I assume the magnet is under the plastic shell that you bolt into place--its not a raw ferrite magnet touching the gun. Industrial strength magnets can be pretty powerful, its not hard to believe it holds 10lbs--I just wouldnt want to install it under my computer desk! Or, if you didnt want hard plastic rubbing your gun, you could wrap a cloth around the magnet before screwing it into the wood. Last edited: May 29, 2009
