Concealed carry proponents expect full-court press to keep Democrats on board

The changes made Wednesday were largely to win the support of Rep. Mary Hubler, D-Rice Lake, who voted against the legislation in 2003. Hubler said this version is better and she'll vote to override the governor - unless the Senate rejects the amendments she wanted.

The other five Democrats to support it Wednesday were: Barbara Gronemus of Whitehall, Marlin Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids, John Steinbrink of Pleasant Prairie, Terry Van Akkeren of Sheboygan and Amy Sue Vruwink of Milladore.

Get the emails of those Dems, and I'll send each one an email from PGP stating that the pro-gun Democratic movement is getting stronger all the time, and they need to stick to their guns (pardon the puns.) Anyone know how to find them?

Rep. John Steinbrink--rep.steinbrink@legis.state.wi.us

Rep. Terry Van Akkeren-- rep.vanakkeren@legis.state.wi.us

Rep. Amy Sue Vruwink --rep.vruwink@legis.state.wi.us

Rep. Mary Hubler--rep.hubler@legis.state.wi.us

When you email them, thank them for having the courage to stand up to the pressure you're certain they were under.

Also, it looks like John Steinbrink or Terry Van Akkeren may be positioning themselves to vote against a veto override. Van Akkeren has said that he has problems with the bill relating to law enforcement not have access to the database when responding to calls, particularly domestic violence calls. Steinbrink has said he likes the bill, but is not "locked in" 100% to vote for the override.

Thanks man! Letters go out tonight via email!

Good work. Glad I can do my part. I'll post up what I send, and probably put it on my blog.
