Concealed Carry Photos Please

I'm thinking about changing my concealed carry holster/method. Right now I use a fanny pack.

In looking at websites selling various holsters, I notice that nearly all of them are shown on a plain background, not as worn. I'd like to see how various holsters are worn (both as concealed and with the shirt lifted to show how the holster looks when uncovered).

I'm also interested in what you like most/hate most about your current setup and what else you have tried and why you didn't like that. I'm especially interested in your opinions on the relative convenience of drawing from IWB 3:00 o-clock or cross-draw positions. Also if you shoulder carry do you prefer horizontal or vertical carry/drawing?

Thanks a million in advance for what I think will be valuable information for all of us thinking about holsters.

High Noon Down Under with straps, with full size CZ SP-10 Phantom and riding on a High Noon Rock Steady belt. GREAT combo, works fantastic. No complaints at all, been concealing under a t-shirt in AZ summer heat with no issues.

CZ P-07 in High Noon Skin Guard. Worked well, but the aggressive grip stippling eats bare flesh.

Same gun in a High Noon Slide Guard. Now THIS is an excellent OWB rig! Note how the cheap belt is getting twisted by the heavy duty rig - get the Rock Steady gunbelt, you won't regret it.

Both of these OWB rigs work best under a covering garment, so not really AZ summer useful.

Here's a combo, PCR in cross draw holster by Hazel Leather used as BUG, primary P-01 in an HBE Specialty Leatherworks COMIII IWB rig.

Yes, I used this setup in public many times, no issues whatsoever, but the Hazel rig in that unusual spot worked best under a vest.

I call that the "let me get my wallet for you" draw...darn shame Hazel is no longer making rigs.

Here is my venerable Smith Model 10-8 4 inch in a no name horizontal rig.

I need a vertical rig. This one is comfortable enough, but I prefer vertical for a revolver. Yes, carried that in the winter, dont feel "under armed" with a 4" 38 Spl.

Last, wife with CZ P-01 in a Hazel IWB rig, was her favorite. She can't carry IWB anymore due to medical reasons, holster was just sold.

And I know this is a pistol forum, but I had to add this one - that's a Czech vz-58 inside a UTG covert rifle case.

Here's the home built holster that carries my wife's and a similar one, my daughter in laws, and my J-frame S&W's. The gun rides on the belt, behind the strong side hip bone, FBI style. With any out of the pants top, it's all but invisible. Rod

Wow, these photos really illustrate how each holster is fitted. I've always been frustrated that holster websites don't show the holsters as worn, leaving you to figure out what the holster would be like to draw from.

This is very helpful. Some beautiful holsters too, especially the home made ones.

Pocket Carry works for me too! And Mika does excellent work. Absolutey NO printing, yep thar's a gun in that pocket! The holster's exterior material helps keep the holster in the pocket when drawing out the weapon (S&W Bodyguard 380)

I just want to bump this thread to try to get more people to post their setups. What a great thread idea, good call OP. Come on folks, don't be shy, lets see what you got!

These are all great photos. Thanks to everyone for posting them. I am learning a lot about how various holsters fit to the body and how they appear when worn. That is something you don't get from most of the holster websites.

This is truly valuable information that everyone who is considering a holster can benefit from.
