Concealed Carry in Ohio

I've been thinking about getting a concealed carry permit. My dilemma is that I don't know if it's worth it. It seems that every place I would go has a sticker in the window stating that there is no guns allowed. What happens to me if I get my permit, miss the sign stating my gun is not welcome, and get busted with my firearm in that establishment? Thoughts??

Even the grocery store.......

Even our local grocery store has one of tese signs! Just seems like a waste of time/money if I can't carry it in any place. Thanks for the reply.

§ 2923.11. Definitions.

As used in sections 2923.11 to 2923.24 of the Revised Code:

(A) "Deadly weapon" means any instrument, device, or thing capable of inflicting death, and designed or specially adapted for use as a weapon, or possessed, carried, or used as a weapon.

§ 2923.12. Carrying concealed weapons.

(A) No person shall knowingly carry or have, concealed on the person's person or concealed ready at hand, any of the following:

(1) A deadly weapon other than a handgun;

Apologies for being off topic, but these two sections cought my eye. A "Deadly Weapon" is defined as anything that can kill and is used as a weapon. The second law prohibits carrying a "concealed deadly weapon."

So, in Ohio, is it legal to carry a pocket knife in one's pocket? Or is it legal and alright to carry until it is "used as a weapon"?
