Concealed Carry for Fishing

Does anyone have recommendations on the best way to carry concealed when fishing? I guess my options would be a) in my vest pocket b) shoulder rig or c) fanny pack attached to my wading belt.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last trip I used an Uncle Mikes belt pack with the new S&W 296 Ti .44spl. I think its the ideal fishing combo.

Get a fishing vest with an interior pocket (like you'd find in a sports coat) or sew one in.

Similar mods can be made on a life jacket.

Or stash your stainless piece in your creel.

Thanks for the advice!

Siggy...it's not so much that the fish are vicious...just elusive!

Should I be concerned about putting the revolver (probably going to be either the 442 or 296...we're thinking along the same lines!) in my vest without having it in a holster?

The biggest problem I had with the 296 is that I often forgot it was there-They are very light. If you do carry it in a vest without a holster I would use a lanyard attached to the lanyard slot in the back of the grip (nice touch by Smith).- Its not the fish, its those pesky fish lovin bears, and there are some rotten two legged critters in the woods these days to.
