Concealed carry for a .38 snub?

I would like to find a comfortable way to carry a .38 snub concealed when my shirt is tucked in. Currently I carry IWB just right of center in front when I have an untucked shirt but that is not a style of dress I can get away with very often. At those times I carry a Guardian or KelTec .32 in my pocket. I find that sometimes my .38 will fit inconspicuosly in my pocket but not as often as I would like. I would like to hear from those of you that carry a .38 snub on a regular basis how you do it when you have to wear a tucked in shirt. Thanks

If tucked, I will have a sport or suit jacket on. Even with pocket carry, I like to have the butt outside and accessable.

I carry a Ruger SP101 .357 3”

I carry in a Smart Carry holster. I could carry with this holster even under my swimsuit if I wanted. I also like it because I don't have to wear a shirt pulled out or a cover shirt. My wife can never tell if I'm carrying or not it conceals so well.

:)

Galco, Bianchi and alot of other holster makers have "tuckable IWB" holsters...they are just a normal IWB holster but the clip is on a sturdy piece of leather and you can tuck your shirt in around your gun....total concealment..except for the clip/hook. You can do a search for "tuckable' and get plent of replies....Ill show you one my local leather guru cooked up for me. Its pretty basic but works very well....Shoot well

I carry an 342PD in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster. In chinos the butt can show a little bit at least if you know what you are looking for. I have a Renegade ankle holster for those situations (work, cocktail parties) but will transfer it to a pocket if I am walking through town.

I carry my model 638 Airweight in a Uncle Mikes, size 3, front pocket holster. Some printing with certain pants. When more discrete carry is required, I use an ankle holster or a belly band.

I pocket-carry a Smith model 638

I occasionally carry a Smith mod 638 "bodyguard" in an Uncle Mike's size 1 soft flexible pocket holster. I wear pleated-front docker-style trousers almost always. The gun is virtually undetectable when walking around or standing. However, when I sit down or squat, the gun GROWS alarmingly and really prints

My constant companion is a Smith 042 in .38 Spl. It rides in my left front pants pocket in an Uncle Mike's holster.

One of these days I'll spring for a leather pocket holster...

Ditto on the Kramer pocket holster when wearing jeans. The Kramer seems made for jeans. I revert to an Uncle Mikes for any other type of pants.

I've used a Kramer pocket holster for years. Just be sure to bring it and the gun when you buy slacks so you can make sure the pockets of the slacks are deep enough to keep the butt from sticking out. But please, use a dressing booth!

If you buy relaxed-fit jeans you can also use it with jeans. I haven't tried the Blackie Collins Toters yet but they look promising.

The reason I love pocket carry in a front trouser pocket is because there is nothing unusual about walking with your hands in your pockets in an uncomfortable situation. It doesn't arouse suspicion like reaching for a belt holster does and you can already have your hand on your gun if trouble does occur.

Travis - While I prefer a semi-auto the Kramer is perfect with Docker type pants. The J-Frame and the Kramer are as good as it gets for concealed carry IMHO. My TPH gets used very little.
