I want to carry a kimber TLE, but can't seem to find a comfortable holster. What do you guys use for full 1911's ?

Mine is a Cactus, . . . combo OWB, IWB, and is tuckable.

Very comfortable, and only $60 delivered. :D

THE KEY to full size 1911 comfort is about 40% holster, . . . 60% belt. Without a good belt, . . . you might as well tie a piece of binder twine around your waist.

May God bless,
Dwight

Dwight, what is a cactus holster??? I have tried to find it but no luck.

I stick my 1911 in a Comp-Tac minotaur just about every day. Conceals well and it's more comfortable than any other IWB i've tried.

Online at HBE leatherworks or Overland gunleather. Both good quality for a decent price. Not jacked up like a few of the others. Heres my Overland holster and mag holder.

I find the Kramer Belt Scabbard does a great job with both full size 1911's and Commander sized pistols.

Very well made. I have the horsehide for a 5 inch and tried the less expensive cowhide for a 4 inch gun. Both are serious holsters. Beautifully wet molded and solid retention. Plus...this design really pulls the butt tight against you and is still pretty darned comfortable.

I use the Milt Sparks VM2HS. I like the horsehide best for Summer. They are all I use and carry a full size auto every day.

I had a Brommeland Max Conn V for my full size 1911. I sold it and got a Milt Sparks VMII. I like the Brommeland better. For me it just fit the contour of my waist a little better.
