composite stocks Springfield and Enfield

So my father's getting up there in age. He was in the coastal militia in WW2 and work directly with the civilian Air Patrol. He still has his issued Springfield but in his old age is getting pretty heavy to pack and would like to take the Springfield and his Enfield out on a few last hunting trips.

My question is are there any good composite stocks for the Springfield and Enfield that won't break the bank but will still take a few lbs of his rifles?

We'd like to keep the stocks under $200 a piece. These don't have to be target stocks they just for hunting. Pillar bedding and free float would be nice but not necessary. Plus I can always bed and float the stock myself. I've seen Ramline and ATI stocks for cheap but I want something higher quality without breaking the bank.

The only after market composite stocks I have experience with were on 10/22's, SKS's and shotguns. I've never used one on a bolt action rifle that didn't come from factory that way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh I guess I should add these rifles will be going back to stock configuration at some point

Thanks for any replies.

I'm not aware of any mid level stocks that fit those guns. Either bottom end, or high end.

If our goal is weight reduction, you won't save any weight until you get into the $600 stocks anyway. Most of the cheaper stocks are about the same weight as wood and most are actually heavier.

The factory walnut 870 stock is 1/4 lb lighter than the factroy plastic. This is typical.

I don't know of any for springfield but I have seen what looks like a do it yourself kit on a 1903 in my local pawnshop lately, don't know where it came from though.

for enfields both ati and ramline make them, I'd recommend the ramline, much better quality. neither are bedded but they don't suffer much over military stocks for accuracy.

my brother's enfield no 4 with a ramline weighs a good 2 pounds less than my no 4 in original configuration.

Thanks for the reply guys.

Has anyone tried Bell and Carlson? Cabela's has them on sale for $129. Any better than Ramline?

These will be going back to stock at some point or I'd spend more. At the same time I'm always looking for a good deal on another Springfield or Enfield and will keep the stocks for future use.
