Rimfire Steel Challenge,,,
Lots of fun,,,
Very challenging,,,
Not very expensive to do.
At the start of the season this year I went to a range that sponsored these shoots,,,
Basically all you need is a decent .22 semi-auto pistol and 5 mags total.
Go to this website for the rules,,,

Due to other responsibilities I wasn't able to attend the matches,,,
So I made my own set of targets out of paint buckets, PVC pipe, plywood, and paper plates.
I planted the PVC pipe in the paint buckets and set them with quick-set concrete,,,
Cut the circles and rectangles to correct size from cheap 3/8" plywood,,,
And covered the plywood with paper plates and white cardboard.
I downloaded the "stages" from the "
Stage Library",,,
Then set them up at my local outdoor range.
I don't have a timer but at least I can play and practice on my own.
Most of the people I met were using Rugers, Buckmarks, and NEOS',,,
I use my CZ-75B Kadet and my Bersa Thunder 22 the most.
Anyways, if you can find a match close to you,,,
This is a serious competition that is also a lot of fun,,,
Just be prepared to get your butt whupped by 14 year old girls.
This is one competition not dominated by the men-folk.
