Kel Tec P-32 ???

It's like shooting a small 22 cal. pistol on steroids -- the gun on steroids, not the shooter.

Only thing that gets annoying is the cost of 32 ACP ammo.

The muzzle flip is considerable but the recoil is not painful. I'd say on par with a Colt Pony and less than an alloy .38 revolver.

I generally shoot 100 per range session but have gone to about 300 at once. It is easier to fire than P11 as the latter has a very heavy trigger pull. Trigger reset does get annoying after a few boxes of .32 though.

How many Rounds of ammo can you afford to let me shoot???

I always run out of ammo before I tire usually at about 500 rounds for .22
150 @.45 as many .357 mags as I can afford on sale for fifty bucks, 150 rounds in the AR
All in a 4 hour session. OP I ran out of money / ammo again (in the budget anyway)

Seriously I have yet to answer that question.

Oh the biggest problem is that I run out of Time.

EWOK, among the most interesting photographs I have seen in a long time. I think it should have been "EWOK and the Temple of Doom!"

In regard to what recoil is like with a P32. I find it less than a Walther PP 32acp and there is zero chance of slide or hammer bite. Why? The slide sits high enough above the frame to negate this.

Richard

With USA ball, Hydras or Gold Dots, it is a pussycat. Akin to a .22 of blowback design in that size range, or a little less. With the AE & S&B ball, it is warmer. I would have to agree with Oleg that it is still less than an Airweight J-frame with even light .38 loads. Hope that helps you. VL

I'd say it's on the unpleasant side, really, because of the narrowness of the backstrap which pushes into your hand, and quit a bit of flip as well. Coupled with the long trigger, the P32 is not conducive to making one WANT to practice with it. Much rather shoot my G30.

I shot 260 rounds of various ammo out of my P32 in just under an hour the other day. Didn't tire me out or anything, but it did give me a blister on my trigger finger.

Like others, I'd compare recoil to a hot .22.

I spend a lot of time at the range with my Glock 27. (.40 Cal.) So I really didn't pay much attention to the recoil of my P-32. I did notice that it seemed much more comfortable to shoot when I installed a Hogue Handall Jr. I had to trim a little of the rubber off the bottom, but it does make the P-32 more comfortable to hold. It only costs $9.95 at my gun shop.
