Hey September 11, nice to meet you, but you are killing us with all these polls!

At first I thought: "Dang, Lonegunman is a killjoy!" BUT THEN I LOOKED at the threads by Sept11. Holy cats, man, enough with the polls!

I'm not wild about polls, but take it easy . . .
11 September is new to TFL and hand-gunning, asking relevant "newbie" questions, trying to learn, and paying attention to our comments and advice. It's just an opinion, but I favor a little more tolerance, since the primary purpose of TFL is to share our knowledge and to help each other.

Of course, if all of these polls have a good number of replies we may see one hell of a research paper come out of it if Sept 11 is up to it.lonegunman

I didnt mean any personal offense, but all those polls really clog up the board.

I understand, in your opinion these polls “clog up the board” but to each his own. I have read posts about people wondering if they have enough guns, should I buy the hand cannon or the rocket-launcher or, “does this holster make me look fat” - things I couldn’t care less about. That doesn’t mean they aren’t of interest to the 237 people that reply to them… there are over 55,000 posts in this forum alone. look at how many people have viewed these polls since I posted them four hours ago. I am certain some of them carry no interest to you…. I am sorry if I get in the way of your interests.
I am trying to gather information regarding reliability and durability "out of the box" and believe there are people in this forum that help answer that question. BTW I labeled all my polls with the word poll – that makes them easy to avoid.
You should talk to the moderators and see if they can make a change in poll availability.
I noticed a lot of people asking questions about performance and reliability – just like mine. I thought by using my time to generate these polls might help future buyers from having to ask a bunch of the same questions. This might free you up to view the posts that are of more interest to you....
