Comments on Nikon M-223 1-4X20 scope

I am interested in anyone's experience with the Nikon M-223 1-4X20 optic, along with the Nikon 1 piece picatinny ring mount.

Midway USA has a special version with an alternate BDC reticle.

I also notice that Nikon has a very similar scope (same physical package) called the Monarch African 1-4X20, and it has a German #4 reticle. Only problem with that scope is the gold "bling".

Any experience with any of these three would be appreciated.....

I had the opportunity to compare (indoors) the Nikon M223 1-4x20 directly with the Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20. I liked the Nikon, but preferred the light transmission of the Leupold.

Similar scope, similar price.... I personally would go with the Leupold after seeing the difference for myself.
