would appreciate info/reviews on the performance and reliability of the baby eagle and the tanfoglio/witness polymer. I am deciding on which to acquire for home defense. Thank you in advance and greetings from the Philippines!

The gun mags gave the EAA Witness polymer in 45 acp decent reviews. Can get a 22 conversion kit for it to. Nice value for the money. My truested dealer likes them.

Kinda curious to see how this thread goes. I have a Witness Carry comp in 45 acp (all steel) and I'm thinking abut trading it for a Baby Eagle. Nothing wrong with the Witness, it's a great gun. I just like the feel and looks of the Eagle better. The only qualm I have about the Baby Eagle is the polygonal rifling. Read enough warnings about lead ammo and pressure increases in Glocks wich are rifled the same. E-mailed Magnum Reasearch, and their reply was: "The polygonal rifling does foul out faster than the standard land and groove
rifling when shooting lead." But they stopped short of saying don't do it.

I have 3 Witness pistols. Like em all. All have been reliable and great shooters. Even picked up an Older TZ in 9mm
I now have a tanfoglio in 45/9/40/40
Lots of fun!!
