Dan Wesson makes one in 45 with an aluminum frame in black.

Who else makes one, maybe in all-stainless, definitely in calibers other than 45?

I'm pretty sure I remember that Dan Wesson used to make a CCO size pistol in 9mm.

I have a Para CCO in .40 S&W, but I made it myself from parts I bought from Sarco.

Springfield Range Officer Compact in 9mm.

4"bbl slide on alloy Officer-sized frame. I just got mine. It's pretty sweet.

there are like 3.
dan wesson as you metioned.
nighthawk makes one called the lady hawk in 45 or 9mm.

The other in the same price range, but not same league is fusion.
many horror stories but many people that got their stuff like them.
you could buy parts and put one together yourself from fusion as well.

as mentioned above, if you don't care about 4 inch vs 4.25 springfield makes one similar too.

I also thing RIA has something in the 4 inch range as well.

Look at Sig's C3 or their discontinued "RCS" model. I have the latter: shortened "Officer's Model" grip lenght (~1/4" shorter), and a 4" bbl. vs. the Commander's 4-1/4" bbl. and an alloy frame. My example is a superb, fighting carry piece. I also own four 5" bbl'd 1911's of Colt, Ruger and Remington Rand make, as well as a Combat Commander, and Ruger's SR1911 CMD. The Sig is far and away a better carry piece due to it's light weight, shorter profile in both directions and superb accuracy (<2" @ 25 yds). Here's a pair of pics showing both the RCS and my Ruger CMD, both in .45 ACP of course. I've since replaced the RCS' grips with better looking Sig stocks, like these on a friend's RCS. Best regards, Rod
