I know this is old news, but I've been busy homeschooling and such since we got back from the trip. Anyhoot, I've just now gotten around to posting our pictures of the Meet at Gunslinger and Terri's up at Photopoint if anyone's interested.

I knew as soon as I saw the photo someone would have to ask John. ;)
It was a very favorable encounter actually. The man living immediately behind me is from New York City and thinks that no one should own a gun....much less shoot one. There is nothing illegal or unsafe about shooting where we are. Fact is I am surrounded by (what few neighbors I have) fellow firearm enthusiast. In spite of our (myself and the neighbors) encouragement he does not wish to move back to NYC. The county sheriffs department is accustomed to his complaints regarding people shooting guns.
On this particualr visit the deputy got out of his car and said, with a grin, he had reports that someone was shooting in the area. This said while within a few feet there were approximately 20 people firing AR15's. I confirmed that, yes, I too in fact had heard shots but did not think it anything that anyone should concern themselves with. He wished us a good evening, got in his car and left. :D

That looks like fun. Man I want to go next year!
Correia, even if we have to drag you there we will see to it that you are in attendance. :)

Absolutely Darthmaum, I wanna get one. I've been sick for about 5 weeks now and not working though, so assuming I recover, I hopefully will have cashflow again soon. This shirt is high on my list of things to buy. I LOVE that Got Ammo? shirt :)

I am so happy for those of you who attended, and I was glad to be among the invitees. Bummed I couldn't make it.

I hope to get to the next one, what a unique family. Folks with like interests sharing knowledge and fun and food. Sharing.

Kinda like here in cyberspace, only face to face.
