combination calibers

How many of us have corresponding rifle/pistol combinations and what are those?

Personally I've only got the .45Colt in two revolvers and one lever action.

Hope to get a .357 lever action and possibly a 9mm carbine.

sks,

I also have matching revolver and carbine in 45 Colt, the 357 Mag combo is on my short list. If I am ever fortunate enough to run across one of the few Marlins that made it out the door, I would love to get a matching set of 41 Mags. :D In this day and age it's kind of hard to justify the one caliber set for practicle reasons, but they sure are FUN!

Happy Shootin'... Mac

:) I have a rossi .357 mag carbine - 20 inches barrelled, weights 5.5 pounds, groups handloaded 158 jsp.s in 1 inch at 50 meters - 3 shots - at 1750 fps of muzzle vel, quite deadly in wild goats. Pairs with a blackhawk 7.5 inches, same load. When I go to the woods during winter - a lot of foliage and brush, short shots - up to 40 yds, revolver shots, up to 100, carbine. with this pair, fellow hunters call-me 'gringo'. I take it along, speak english, drink scotch after hunt as they drink cachaça. splendid time.

Not yet, but it is planned. I think that a lot of properly loaded higher velocity rounds can make good use of the extra 12" or so of barrel. 9x19mm, 357 Magnum, and 44 Magnum are the three that come to mind first.

Got the Marlin in .357. Sweet gun. I'm a big .357 fan so it's nice to be able to feed all the revolvers and the rifle with the same ammo.
The rifle does get a bit more out of the round if properly loaded.

I think it's a great idea.

Will get a 9mm carbine for the next project (after I get a supressor for 9mm).

Wait until I figure out how to convert my Camp Carbine 45 to use Grease Gun mags! That with my 1911 and I'll have enough 45 ACP to rule the UNIVERSE!!! BWAH, HA HA HA HA......

Either that or use my 357 Rossi and my 581. Unfortunately, I've loaded all my 357 with black powder for CAS applications...

I have a Winchester Trapper in .357 paired with a S&W 686 Power Port. I wouldn't mind adding another .357 revolver to the collection (probably a Smith 60). This should be adequate for the typical ravaging zombie horde in the wilds of Northern Virginia...:)

Have a couple:

Dakota single action and Rossi 1892 carbine in .44 WCF.
Ruger Blackhawk and Marlin 1894 in 357 Magnum.
Used to have semi carbine in 45 ACP but disposed of it. (I live in People's Democratic Republic of California.)

I did see where there is a .223 pistol, which would make a nice addition to my Bushy. :) Didn't know about the .45ACP carbine but will have to check into that one.

Personally I enjoy going to the range from time to time and just taking one caliber to shoot. Makes things easier that way. :D

Sub-9 w/ Smith & Wesson grip
P-11

not only are both 9mm, but I can use 5906 mags in both! Comes in handy.

I just picked up a S &W 57. I'd love to get a Marlin to match, someday. Maybe after my articles start a .41 revival.
