Combat Revolver Instruction

I need some advice. Any ideas on where I can get competent revolver instruction. I have been a dyed-in-the-wool semi-auto guy for about 20 years. I shot a Manurhin MR 73 in Switzerland not too long ago...Well to say the least....I'm a revolver convert now!!! Love that wheel gun...Shame on me for all those years of making fun of people with their antiquated wheel guns!!

I own a Colt Python .357. Had it since 1984. I never shot the darn thing till now!! :)

Man was I wrong!!!

Not sure about the instruction, I'd suggest trying to locate an NRA certified instructor or LE instructor who's been around long enough to be familiar with revolvers, and isn't just full of BS. You might also try contacting your county's sheriff dept...they might have an instructor who'd be willing to help you out.

I'm more sorry to hear that you've wasted 20 years with a Python in your closet! How sad! I've got a large selection of both auto and revolver in my safe, and I have to say that the revolver is still my favorite, I enjoy shooting them the most. They're so simple, so big, so elegant. Of course, the real reason might be because those .357 and .44 Mags just make the most commotion! :D
